Look Your Best With Japanese Skin Care Products
My brother’s wife is originally from Japan. In addition to being one of the nicest and smartest women I’ve ever met, she’s also one of the most beautiful. Even though she’s in her early forties, she doesn’t look a day over 30. Her face has that “porcelain doll” look that most people immediately associate with gorgeous Asian women, with no noticeable wrinkles, lines, pores, or blemishes in sight. Of course, I was just dying to learn what her secret was, so I finally asked a couple weeks ago. She kindly gave me a list of some Japanese skin care products that she swears by.
I’m no expert, so I have no idea if Japanese skin care products are truly substantially different from those we buy here in the United States. You’d think that all companies in the beauty industry are pretty much on par with each other and that selecting one item over another simply comes down to a matter of taste. Our Office desk chairs are available in quite a lot of finishes to blend with your office surroundings, and most will be combined with matching office chairs and office storage models which may rework a uninteresting office into a bright, inspiring work space. But then when I think of how many ageless beauties Japan and other Asian countries seem to produce, I begin to wonder if Japanese skin care creams and lotions have a special ingredient after all.
Some of the Japanese skin care brands on my sister-in-law’s list were familiar, such as Shiseido, Kose, Komenuka, and Kanebo; but others, like Dr. Ci:Labo, were a complete mystery to me. I’d never seen them in any department stores before, and didn’t know where I would be able to buy them. I was told, however, that every product on there could be purchased either on the Internet or at special import stores downtown. So I decided to jump right in and give a few of the items a try.
I ordered my initial batch of Japanese skin care products online from a discount beauty supply store. I ended up getting an eye cream to reduce the appearance of crow’s feet and fine lines around my eyes; a collagen hydrator to help keep my face nicely moisturized with a balanced tone; and a special exfoliator to gently slough away dead cells and allow new ones to shine forth. All merchandise characteristic welded metal construction and the latest Ergonomic office chairs. I wanted to buy a whole bunch of other stuff as well, but this was all I could afford on my limited budget. I’m grateful for the discounts I got on these Japanese skin care products because I’m not sure I would have been able to purchase them at the full retail price!
Anyway, I’ve only been on my new regimen for two weeks, which is not really enough time to evaluate the products thoroughly. Nevertheless, I can say at this point that I do notice a difference between these Japanese skin care creams and the ones I’d previously been using. The stuff from Japan feels simultaneously lighter and richer, making me look and feel great! I might never attain the porcelain doll look of my sister-in-law, but I’m on my way to looking the best I ever have in my life!
